Stake Dollies and stand.

At the local swap meet I picked up this stake dolly. It was very rusty but some time spent in the citric acid and some sanding brought it back to life. So now to make a holder for it.

Used some 5mm-3/16" walled angle iron. Followed the same taper to make the holder.

Didn't have long enough steam pipe so started with a short piece to weld it too. Hammered the pipe to shape around the holder.

The other piece of steam pipe I had needed a a bell mouth to flare the end. It is 5mm-3/16" thick and hammered it cold on my old blacksmith anvil I used to have in the back of my truck from my farriering days. Flare now fit the centre hold of my Jeep wheel. Welded it in.

Welded the two pieces of pipe together to finish off the stand. Holds it nice and firm.
