Just thought I would give an update after a year on the road since re-assembly after paint. We have been going to cars and coffee events as well as some shows both local and 2-4 hours drive away in the country. Done another 3000km, making 6000km since the build first hit the road in bare metal. The Truck has not needed any attention at all and it continues to run like clockwork. Apart from keeping it clean, only had to tighten an oil filter, that got a drip on it when hot, and replace a heater hose end which just stated to leak where it had gotten a little nick in the outside during the construction. Got to be happy about that. :) Most of the photographs shown are taken by photographers who you can look up using their watermarks. I want to thank them for taking the shots and allowing me to share them here. Below is just a few of the events we have been too.

Horsepower in the High Country event.

Highballs goes country. We have found the truck gets more interest at the country events than the city generally. Often so busy answering questions that I don't get to see any of the other cars. I'm so glad people take the time to ask about it.

Truck being judged at the St.Andrews show. I think this was the only show where it was officially entered in a category for Classic Utilities. Most don't have anything for commercial vehicles.

and I won first prize!

Took it back to the painters to show the crew at Donburn Customs how their hard efforts came out.

At Gembrook cars and coffee I was fortunate to come across Graham and his V8 powered and lowered version of same model truck as ours. :) So great to finally be side by side with a stock bodied Willys Truck of the same year even!

Garfield cars and coffee.

Cranbourne Cruise Nites. I have a display banner I put up at shows so people don't confuse it with a late model Jeep. Too many times I'm asked at the gate what year it is before they will let me even enter the event. Those who have taken the time to least look at the heading, really appreciate the time and effort that goes into a build like this. Anyone who has done any panel work etc themselves, appreciate it even more.

Cranksters Nagambie Run where I was interviewed for Bumper2BumperTV. Hopefully it comes out on his YouTube channel soon.
